This picture was still at the hospital.  William was 1 day old.  I never get tired of taking pictures of my husband and my son snuggling...it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!!!

Happy Birthday Sweet Hubby!!!

Today my dear hubby turns 36!  He has been the most amazing partner ever since the baby was born, as I have gone through post-partum anxiety, cancer, caesarean pain, thyroid medication imbalances, and hormone imbalances.  He is an amazing father, the very best I could have chosen for our sweet little man, "Le Petite Bonhomme" as they say in French.  I love you Aurelien!  Thank you for making all my dreams come true!

Grace

This is a photo from around the time that I found out that I had Thyroid Cancer, in September of 2012.  As you can see, I had just had a baby so it was pretty gut-wrenching, heart-wrenching stuff to deal with.  God's grace really got me through that super-difficult time.  All the sermons at church were about persevering through trials, and responding to them by turning TO God, instead of AWAY from God, and about how trials build character, etc...I really felt carried by His grace during that horrible period.  And for the first time in my life I am proud of how I responded to the trial.  I really feel that I grew SO much as a person from that experience.  I am supposed to be cancer-free now, so feel free to say a little prayer if you like that I continue to stay that way!!! <3 p="">
